RUN STRONGER

 

 

Running expert & Digme Instructor Gareth Petts and Digme's Head of Matrix Ben Davie have created an 8 week programme to help you become a stronger, more efficient runner.

Sponsored by HOKA one one the programme starts on the 10th February in London and the 14th February in Oxford. The programme will run for 8 weeks and finish on the 30th March / 3rd April. It’s the perfect strengthening programme for those signed up to a spring race.

Fitzrovia Mondays at 7.45pm with Ben 

Blackfriars Mondays at 7.15pm with Emily 

Oxford Fridays at 5.15pm with Gareth

The Programme

The programme will be broken up into 3 key stages:

 

Foundation 3 weeks

The first 3 weeks are all about building the foundations. Including functional movement patterning to condition you for the strength work in stage 2. We’ll focus on mobility, neuromuscular control and activation.

 

Strength 3 weeks

This 3 week block will focus on loaded compound movements to strengthen your legs and core. And ultimately to develop strength which can be utilised to unlock speed and running efficiency.

 

Peak 2 weeks

Get ready to combine the tools you’ve learned in the first two stages and take the intensity to the next level. You’ll be stronger, conditioned and ready to test your limits.

 

As well as one weekly session in the Energy Lab at Digme, there will be additional advice and content available in the Matrix: Run Stronger FB community group . This will also allow you to share your training progress with others.
