Perfect as your first fitness retreat – experience is not essential. We’ve teamed up with Digme’s Head Perform instructor @paulucanfitness and wellness coach @hanutri_ to bring you a 7 day retreat that combines cycling, restore, yoga and swimming with the Crete’s idyllic back drops. Guaranteed to leave you feeling incredible.

You can join in with however much you feel comfortable with, the beach is always there if you need some downtime.

OUR TEAM

Paul Gascoyne

As well as being Digme’s lead Perform Trainer, Paul has been leading Training Retreats for many years in personally selected locations around Europe. With this experience, his objective is for everyone on the Training Retreat to have the opportunity to reach their full potential whatever their level of fitness. With British Cycling / Triathlon and Swimming Level 3 coaching qualifications, Paul can help you improve various skill sets, including climbing, descending, stopping, and riding in a group, along with open water swimming. In addition, Paul provides Personal Training, Cycle and Swim Coaching, monthly Functional Training Plans ideal to prepare you for whatever sporting goals you may have, eg. cycling sportives, triathlons (all distances). Sports Injury Therapy exercises, and Nutrition Consultancy in collaboration with Hana are offered to corporate businesses, sporting groups and individuals in various settings, such as offices, homes, and the great outdoors!

Hana Sediva

Hana is a regular at Digme Richmond, and a long time sports enthusiast. She is a fully certified Sports Nutritionist offering performance optimisation, training/event nutrition plan preparation and personalised Functional Nutrition utilising Genetic testing to fine tune the clients nutrition plan. Hana is a qualified yoga, Gyrokinesis®, and Gyrotonic® teacher, offering private, group, and corporate sessions. She believes that Gyrokinesis®, in particular, is an ideal movement therapy on cycling retreats, as the emphasis on the spine, lower back, and hips provides restorative effects for the body. Hana is a certified life coach and offers sessions that help her clients reach their goals and potential.

 

Hana and Paul work very well together to bring a holistic and balanced approach to their clients’ wellbeing.

A TYPICAL DAY

7.30am – morning swim  

8.15am – Gyrokinesis on the beach

9.00am – highly nutritious Cretan breakfast

10.15am – cycle with coffee and lunch break, returning around 3/5pm depending on the length of the ride 

5.30pm  – afternoon swim

6.00pm – restorative yoga/Gyrokinesis session to support your post-ride recovery.

7pm – group dinner in town with many amazing food options to choose from.

CRETE

An enticing mix, thin and wide gorges carved into the mountainsides caused by millennia of gushing water, the winding road roads elevated high above the valley floors, a tiny blue and white chapel chapel shining brightly in the distance, a beacon that indicates the top of many climbs. From the outside these exude an air of history and secrecy, along with rudimentary charm and indisputable beauty. Crete has an abundance of hidden treasures and all you have to do to discover them is ride a bike.

The £500 deposit confirms your place on the Digme Fitness April 2020 retreat and is payable upon booking. The deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance will be  due two months prior to the start of the retreat. The balance is non-refundable one month prior to the start date of the retreat.
