Restore Yoga 60 Our Workouts Restore Yoga Tash C Profile Our Restore classes are the opposite to our dynamic Flow and fiery Power classes. Instead of building heat, these Yin/Restorative sessions cool down the body (so we advise to bring warmer layers and perhaps keep your socks on for this one). We tend to hold these shapes for a minimum of three minutes. By taking more time in each asana (pose), we are able to slow down the mind and perhaps experience a more meditative practice. There will be options to use props for support, so we can find our “comfortable edge”. With these longer holds, we are able to go beyond the muscles and deeper into the connective tissues, joints, bones and fascia. When we put small amounts of healthy stress into these areas, we are able to lengthen the body, which in return, increases our flexibility and mobility. We can also target areas with blockages in the body, often finding physical, emotional and energetic release by doing so. A perfect opportunity to slow down, restore the mind and body and find some of that much needed release! Open to all levels of experience. Please bring warmer layers/socks just in case.
