Instructor and foodie Sophie @vegansophldn will be live from her kitchen, serving up French Toast - using mainly cupboard ingredients so that everyone can get involved.

So make sure you have the ingredients ready to join in...

 

French Toast
 
2 big or 3 small chunky slices bread. Sourdough or white bread is best for this recipe. Can be a couple days old and a bit stale!
 
100ml plant milk
 
2 tbsp maple syrup
 
2 tbsp flour (any kind)
 
1 tsp cinnamon
 
1 tsp nutmeg
 
1 tsp vanilla paste or extract
 
1 tbsp vegan butter
 
Handful of fruits you want to top with. I like berries but nectarines or peaches would be nice.
 
2 or 3 tbsp soya or coconut yoghurt
 
Handful seeds (optional- I like pumpkin seeds and hemp seeds)
